I've been looking forward to the musical "Lestat" (Anne Rice/Elton John-Bernie Taupin) that is having its pre-Broadway run in San Francisco. Just read that the actor playing Armand is being replaced. The understudy will take over until a replacement is found, presumably before the show hits Broadway in the spring, but probably not before I see it this coming Thursday. What a bummer for the understudy, but I guess that's show biz.
