Laid-back Saturday. Wandered the near-by Farmers Market, then went to finally see the movie, "Transamerica" this afternoon. It was very touching and, at points, so funny! I now think Felicity Huffman was better in her role than Reese Witherspoon (who was also very good) in "Walk the Line."

Walking to get a snack after the movie, who do I see but [livejournal.com profile] cadhla with someone I don't know. However, read her lj so I'm ready. I say hi and give her a hug, and Seanan proceeds to introduce us and I finish her "and this is ..." with "Sunil!"

Hee hee hee!

She stops speaking with a great look of surprise and confusion, but only for a moment after I remind her of her post.

Love it!

They were off to Berkeley Bowl Marketplace in search of tomatoes and other great veggies. I'm sure they were successful.

After having put together the Cindy circle list/post, I haven't felt motivated to write up a conreport. I think I'm still dealing with her passing, taking it much harder than expected. As mentioned in the circle, it really did hit me as I listened to the songs shared, several of them ones I'd sung/recorded with Cindy. Although I hadn't actually sung with her in a few years, those memories came back as I listened to tapes/CDs in preparation for the filksing a month back as well as Consonance.

Okay, was looking around a little more and read this article on Playbill's site that listed St. Louis as the final stop on the "Broadway Farewell" tour, but also noted the show will return to Broadway in November. I guess the Broadway revival version will be the shorter one [livejournal.com profile] debmats dislikes.
