A Chorus Line (and other musical mentions, including Lestat)
Hey
singular_girl! Tix are supposed to go on sale this week and the pre-Broadway run in San Francisco is for 7/23 - 9/2, $30 - $90.
I'd received the group sales info a few weeks ago, but didn't feel like getting a gang together. Aside from Andrea, anyone else interested in coming along with me to see ACL? If I love this version I may go more than once.
Looking further down the schedule at the musicals in the Best of Broadway '06-'07 season, I guess I'll go to "Edward Scissorhands" (Matthew Bourne's "Swan Lake" was here in recent months), but not sure about "Legally Blonde" even though it's a world premiere. "Altar Boyz" next spring ... yeah, definite maybe.
(And
cadhla, I've done more reading but still don't know what Martin Short's musical is about.)
And lastly, the Lestat reviews were mostly negative. Links to a bunch of them are gathered at this Broadway blog (check April 26).
