Aug. 15th, 2006 03:17 pmI'm becoming very excited about attending this year's World Science Fiction Convention. Not crazy about it being in Anaheim, but it should still be fun.
Though I know things will change, I love having the program available online in advance! I understand "Fellowship!, the musical" won't be performed, which is a bit of a bummer. Lots of Star Trek, which will be wonderful.
I'm on a bit of programming (all filk):
Wed, 9pm: Julia Ecklar Theme Circle
Fri, 4pm: Cynthia McQuillin Memorial Circle
Sun, 10:30am: History of Filk, Part 2
I requested the first, volunteered to be part of the second, and was requested to participate in the last due to my Off Centaur involvement.
Had a question: for those who've been to one or more Cindy memorial circles/sings, what would you recommend for starters/closers? I plan to make the entire affair laid-back and not too solemn, but don't expect to have only humorous material performed/shared by those in attendance. I'll probably lead them as sing-alongs. Thanks in advance!
