Sep. 19th, 2006 12:43 pmHad dental work done yesterday (Phase 1 of getting crowns on two teeth). I got worried when I felt the novocaine wearing off and the temporaries had not yet been put in, but it ended up okay. The unlovely aroma of drilled tooth took hours to go away despite much nose-blowing and sniffing of nicer substances (like these chocolate penguins -- thanks Alex!). Only slightly achy today.
Happy right now as I just got the latest Indigo Girls CD, Despite Our Differences. This version has a bonus disc acoustic versions of some of the new songs. The new disc was produced by Mitchell Froom, who produced a couple of albums and a child with Suzanne Vega. I don't expect Froom-Ray or Froom-Saliers kids from this most recent collaboration. Pop singer Pink is on this album, too.
