I suspect the books will be available for a while, so I wouldn't be worried about picking them up right away. Maybe get one a year or if you see them

Am not a big Jim Carrey fan. I thought the best part about the movie, aside from the snakes (hee!), were the children. All wonderful, at least to me. The look of the film was was just right to me, too.
