Got home last night after a two-day business trip to Arizona, after which I took Friday off to spend time with a friend who had moved down there a couple of years ago. The work part was low-key and surprisingly pleasant, and the fun part was relaxing and, well, fun! More later.

It's definitely warm/hot. Public transportation is not good. Places I ate had vegetarian choices, but not sure if there was vegan to be had. A Whole Foods is opening not far from D's place. The job market is, from what I've been told, better than around here for technology jobs.
